When it comes to mascara, I'm a hard cookie to please. In fact, I would say I'm almost impossible to please in this regard. I like my mascara to be a powerhouse of volume and length with nary a clump in sight. And, since we are on what constitutes a holy grail mascara in my book, I should also add that it needs to be foolproof with a quick and easy application that doesn't flake. I have a few tried and true brands that fall into this category but I'm always on the lookout for another mascara to 'wow' me. So, when I was contacted to try out Lashem's new Extensions in a Bottle, I was thrilled to try it out and offer up my opinion on their top selling product!

When it comes to fibre mascara products, I tend to shy away from them. The majority I've tried are a whole mess of sloppy application and dreaded spider lashes. My other issue with fibre mascaras would be that they flake like crazy. So, while, at times the finished look may be nice, a day spent fishing fibres out of my eyes just doesn't appeal to me and is a waste of my time. Needless to say, I expected Lashem to go the same route as many of the other fibre mascaras on the market.

Surprisingly, Lashem exceeded my expectations. The product went on smoothly and was relatively clump free. I didn't find that it caused much irritation, but I did have a few instances with the fibres falling into my eye. A few other perks to the mascara that I liked was that there was no odor to the product and it's got the seal of approval from Peta. The finished product gave me encouragement too as the result wasn't overly unnatural or spidery!

All in all, I'm pleasantly pleased with Lahem's new Extensions in a Bottle mascara. I think it's a fabulous product and definitely worth a try for anyone looking for more dramatic lashes. Priced at $30 and available at Nordstrom, I feel that it's a good addition to any beauty routine!
