My Go To Drugstore Makeup

When I say go to, what I should really say is that these are the affordable makeup products that I always repurchase as soon as they are empty. They aren't groundbreaking by any means, nor will they give you a super glamourous makeup look, but you can pretty much bet that you can get your face on with these in less than two minutes. They are no makeup- makeup, make your ass look wide awake with the least effort possible. You know me, I'm pretty simple when it comes to my makeup because these days, no matter how much I love makeup, I just don't have time for fancy complicated looks!

elf cosmetics flawless eyeshadow | natural matte

It's a love/hate relationship for me with elf eyeshadows. Some of their shadows are amazing and some of them are total disappointments, but when they do put out a good shadow, they do it well. Lately I've been loving their flawless shadow quad in natural matte. These shadows are highly pigmented and creamier than butter. Hard to believe, I know! Usually matte eyeshadows from the drugstore are chalky and scratchy, but these are the complete opposite. I own both the Naked Basics and Basics 2 from Urban Decay and I honestly feel that this little quad performs just as well for a complete fraction of the price. Come on, at $2.00 you can take this sucker anywhere, stash it in your car for emergencies, beat it up and not have to splash out $30 to replace it. So, while the Urban Decay Basics are amazing, if you're looking for performance and don't want to spend the benji's pick this little bad boy up!

milani lipgloss | luminous

This gloss is a straight up dupe for the NARS Orgasm Lipgloss. Honestly, there is no reason to splash out an extra $25 just to have the NARS version as this gloss has the same staying power and the same universal flattering colour. So, while I love NARS lip products {and just about everything else} I just can't bring myself to purchase their brand over the dupe.

maybelline dream lumi | radiant
rimmel scandaleyes kohl eyeliner | nude

Okay, so I love the YSL Touche Éclat. Every girl should buy that product at least once just for the experience. No lie, it's one of those life changing products that makes you sit back and think, "goodness old girl, we have been living under a rock". Yeah, it's amazing and mind blowing, but it's also $42 a pop. I don't know about you, but I go through that thing almost as quickly as I go through K-Cups! So, at that price, it's definitely not something I want to drain my bank account for on a constant basis. The Maybelline Dream Lumi isn't quite as pigmented, but it does a pretty bang up job for only $5 and considering that I repurchase this once a month it's not a kick in the stomache each time I swipe my card.

As for the Rimme ScandalEyes, it's a nude liner that helps my sleep deprived eyes look nice and wide awake when I actually leave the house for something other than a grocery run. It's richly pigmented, stays put on the waterline, and doesn't scratch like other nude drugstore pencils. Plus, it's like $4 and lasts forever!

So there you have it, 4 great makeup products and all together ringing up for less than $20! #WINNING
