Reviv Telomerase Serum

This post is sponsored by BrandBacker and Reviv Serums however, all opinions stated herein are my own.

I have had the Reviv TelomErase Serum for quite a while. I can't tell you how many times I have stopped and started this review over the past few months. In fact, I have even put my BrandBacker account in jeopardy for not reviewing this product in a timely manner. But, I just couldn't give an honest review. And here is why. If you have been following my blog over the past few months, you know that I have been struggling, for the first time in my life, with overly problematic skin. It's oily, it's dry, it's flaky, it's red, it's clogged, it's blemished, it's dull, it's tight, it's loose. You name it and I have had that issue.

Coming off the pregnancy hormones I just couldn't keep up with my skin, no matter what I tried. And even if a product worked for me one week, the next week it didn't. I've never been so frustrated with my skin in all the years that I have actually cared about skincare. I don't know how many times I stood in front of my mirror crying and feeling so dismayed at what I saw reflected back at me.

Luckily, over the past month my skin has seemed to return to it's pre-pregnancy state of dryness with my regular rosacea spreading across my cheeks. I never thought I would be so happy to actually be happy about my skin being dry and red, but after my skin issues following Ben's birth, I'm ecstatic. I am also now in the position to finally review this serum!

With having my skin so wonky, I was so skeptical that this would work. Reviv had quite a bit to say about this serum and I honestly had my doubts. I'm a big believer that when products have so many ingredients that you can't pronounce, they are covering up for the inadequacy of their product. However, I have been known to be wrong on occasions when it comes to some products and it would seem that I have been wrong about this as well.

I don't quite know which of the 10 key ingredients it is that does the job, but whatever it is- it just works. Over the past month I have most definitely noticed a tightening and lifting of my skin that can't be put down to any of the other skincare products that I am using at the moment. My pores have also shrunk noticeably since using this product on a daily basis. My makeup application has also been much improved due to the refined texture and plumpness of my skin. I have also found that when moisturizing after use of the serum, my dry skin seems to absorb my moisturizer better. Again, I don't know why it works and for the sake of being painfully honest, I don't really care. All I care about is that when I stand in front of the mirror and am ready to put on my makeup, I'm actually pleased at what I see staring back at me.

Reviv TelomErase Serum is a bit high on the price spectrum, coming in at $150 for 60ml. It is pricey, especially if you are used to paying drugstore prices, but it does last you quite well. And, as my mother reminded me a few weeks ago, when it comes to your saving your skin- the largest organ in the body, there's no price too high. Since I've started using it on a daily basis, I would say that I am almost to the bottom of the first sample bottle that I was sent. The photo below can tell you just how much I have been using the booty out of this stuff.

You can currently purchase the Reviv TelomErase Serum on their website and read all the science behind how it works, but truthfully, when it comes to a skincare product, actually seeing it in action is really what matters and with this stuff, in action is where it really shines. And here is the kicker, if you are not satified, which I can't imagine you wouldn't be, they will refund you your money.

So, there you have it. Four months in the making but finally able to give this product the That's So Crystal seal of approval. As always, thanks for reading my darlings and I will see you soon! xoxo
