WARM FALL STYLE

Fall is, without a doubt, my absolute favourite season! I could wax poetic about my love affair with autumn, but it would be a monologue you've heard a million times before. Now, in Florida, we don't get much of fall but the past few days it has been much cooler in the mornings and evenings with a touch of thunderstorms thrown in for good measure. It also didn't hurt that I just spent two weeks on holiday in North Carolina and got a taste of the season with nice cool temperatures and overcast skies!

Last year, for me, my top colour for fall was blood red vampy colours but this year I'm feeling a bit more understated and loving a gradient of browns. It could be that with the baby I'm feeling a definite lack of luxury and comfort, but the warmth of the browns is just calling my name and saying, "buy me, my darling.... if you do, the colic, gas, and crying will all get magically better". It's wishfull thinking, of course, but a girl can dream!

1. This New Look Daped Coat is without a doubt my number one top pick for autumn. It is available in this gorgeous camel colour as well as a more sombre dove gray. Currently this artful coat is only available in the camel colour and a size small, but it should be coming back in stock soon! At $41 it is the perfect edition to your fall collection that you will continue to wear for several seasons to come.

2. I have a definite love/hate relationship with Hourglass cosmetics due to the price point with most products over $35. I'm also not a huge fan of highlighters as I can't stand how they look on my dry and, at times, flaky skin. With that said however, I did just purchase two of the Ambient Lighting blushes in Dim Infusion and Incandescent Electra to try out. They totally rocked and left such a subtle glow on my skin that now I've got my eye on their Ambient Lighting Palette of powders. I'm also keen to try out the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit but at $80 I will try out the smaller palette first.

3. Ankle Boots are a definite fall staple for any girl worth her salt, but these Cognac booties from Dirty Laundry will have a girl needing her cholesterol checked. The zipper and buckle detail with the chunky heel will have you swooning with longing!

4. Unfortunately this W. Britt for J Crew necklace is sold out, but I'm not giving up on finding it!

5. We all know how much I love my Essie nail polishes. Honestly, I am really starting to run out of room for them all, but I won't be able to resist purchasing this gorgeous bronze colour 'Leggy Legend' from their Fall 2015 Collection.

6. Forever 21 has been stepping up their game a bit with their Contemporary Collection. With the company being famous for churning out trendy pieces, it's refeshing to see them trying their hand at more timeless pieces. For me, the collection is turning my head a bit and catching my attention, especially with this classic A-Line skirt. It looks well tailored and the ginger colour looks deep and definitely not on the cheap side. I'm hoping for a high street store that this skirt will meet expectations.

7. With my Alice+Olivia Starbucks thermos broken, I've been quite drab in my choice of coffee drinkware. This fun Kate Spade thermos  is the constant companion I have been looking for! As an added bonus, it will fit in my stroller cup holder! Double thumbs up!

8. I have been waiting MONTHS AND MONTHS for the Spa of the World line to come out at The Body Shop just so I could purchase the Polyenesian Monoi Radiance Oil. Surprisingly, I don' want to use it on my skin, I want it exclusively for my hair! It's hard to get shine into blonde hair without it starting to look greasy but my friends in the UK say that this does just the trick! The line was just released here in the states a week or two ago, so hopefully they haven't sold out for those of you who haven't ordered it yet.

9. Last but not least is a blogger fave- a Zara blanket scarf. Obviously this one is at the top of my list for fall browns!

What is on your purchae list this year for fall? Let me know in the comments below! As always, thanks for reading! xoxo
