Who takes your pictures?

All pictures on That's So Crystal are taken by me. All other images will be credited to their sources to the best of my ability.

What type of equipment do you use for your photos?

I use a tripod, a Nikon d7000 or a Nikon d3000, Nikon 85mm f/1.8G lens, and a remote. Any other photos are taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, iPod Touch 5th Generation or my Samsung tablet.

I want to purchase an item that you were wearing, where do I find it?

I will always do my best to put a link to where you can purchase an item on the blog. However, I am a savvy shopper with a budget so I tend to wear many older items with newer pieces. With that said, many of the items will not currently be available. If you have an interest in an item, please send me an email from the contact form and I will do my best to help you find something similar to it.

How can I reach you with a question or a comment?

The best way to contact me is by email or instagram. I check these daily and will respond to you quickly.

I have a question about sizing, can you help?

I know that sizing can be difficult and at times, downright frustrating. I am quite short in stature and have several problem areas on my body that could really use some dieting attention so I feel your pain. In jeans I usually wear 4 or a 26-28 depending on the fit. In tailored pants, I generally am a 4 as well. Shirts, sweaters, and blouses are generally purchased in a Medium or a Large depending on the designer.

If you have a specific question about the fit of a brand, please feel free to email me or connect with me on one of my social media accounts.

I've seen several high end items on your blog, do you only purchase them at designer stores?

Good heavens, no. I'm a budget shopper so the majority of my higher end items come from various places like outlet shops, TJ Maxx, Like Twice, and Marshalls. In addition to pretty much exclusively picking up items when they are on sale, I also mix in pieces from stores like Forever 21 and H&M. Ebay and Etsy are also fantastic resources for picking up great, high quality pieces.

Can I put your photos on my site?

Absolutely! All I require for you to use an image from my blog is to simply link it back to me.

Do you sell items from your closet on any apps?

At the moment, no. I have a hard time letting things go as I only buy something if I truly love it. However, that isn't to say that eventually I will not list items in the future. If that happens, I will post about it on the blog and let you know where the item can be purchased.

Can you recommend an app for buying gently used clothing, accessories, and handbags?

I can recommend a few, however, I urge you to be extremely cautious in your purchases. Apps like Poshmark, Vinted, Ebay, Etsy and even Instagram are great places to find great pieces for your wardrobe. Make sure to check feedback on the sellers and be sure to have everything documented- invoices, tracking information, and pictures. To also help avoid issues, I recommend that you have the seller measure whatever you may be purchasing so as to have no surprises when the item finally arrives. When purchasing through these stores, it's important to remember that the majority of these items have been washed therefore changing their size. No one likes a shocker, so be sure to do your homework before you buy! I also recommend that if you don't have a PayPal account that you set one up immediately as it's the safest way to buy online.
